Sales Intern

We're hiring a sales intern to help Grovli scale beyond word-of-mouth acquisition. This is a hands-on role: you'll work directly with the founder and engineering team on partnerships, funnel analysis, and conversion experiments — not on a corporate sales-rep ladder.

About Grovli

Grovli is an AI meal-planning product on iOS and the web with Free / Standard / Family / Pro / Enterprise subscription tiers. We process payments via Stripe on the web and Apple IAP on iOS. Most acquisition today is organic and through curated TestFlight cohorts; we want to systematise the next phase of growth without spending a lot on paid acquisition.

What you'll do

  • Build a partnership pipeline: nutritionists, registered dietitians, cooking creators, fitness coaches, gym chains. Identify, reach out, qualify, and run kick-off calls. Measure conversion from intro → pilot → revenue-share.
  • Analyse the free-to-paid funnel: where do users drop off in the onboarding wizard, the first meal plan, the first save, the first paywall hit? Use Grafana dashboards (we'll teach you) to find the step where retention falls and propose experiments.
  • Run conversion experiments: A/B copy on the paywall sheet, paywall timing (after first plan vs after first save), referral incentives. Engineering ships the variants; you own measurement and write up the result.
  • Engage the existing user base: write outreach emails for re-engagement of churned users, reactivation flows, and upgrade-prompt timing. Coordinate with the email service we run (Monday.com + Gmail SMTP relay).
  • Help with App Store optimisation: keyword research, screenshot testing, review-response templates, Promo Code distribution to influencers.

You probably have

  • A BA / BS in progress (any major) and current standing for an internship
  • Comfort with spreadsheets and basic SQL or analytics dashboards
  • Strong written communication — you can draft a cold email that sounds like a person, not a template
  • A genuine interest in how products grow without paid ads

Bonus points

  • Have run an early-stage user-acquisition project before, even a side-project
  • Familiar with Apple Search Ads or Google Ads basics
  • Health / fitness / nutrition personal interest (you'll be talking to creators in this space a lot)
