Terms of Service

By accessing or using Grovli ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must not use the Service.

Grovli is an AI-powered meal planning platform that generates personalised meal suggestions, provides macro and calorie tracking, manages pantry inventory, and offers weekly meal planning tools. Features vary by subscription tier.

You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis at the rates displayed on our pricing page. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings
• Access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — email us if you need one
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activity
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service
• Interfere with the operation, security, or performance of the Service
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation
• Use automated tools to access the Service without written permission
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any part of the Service

Grovli includes social features that let users publish cooklists, profile bios, and other content visible to other members ("User Content"). By posting User Content you grant Grovli a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the Service.

Grovli has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post, link to, or otherwise transmit any content that:

• Promotes hate, discrimination, harassment, or violence against any individual or group
• Contains sexually explicit material, nudity, or content that exploits or endangers minors
• Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders (including pro-ana / pro-mia content)
• Constitutes spam, scams, impersonation, doxxing, or unlawful activity
• Provides dangerous misinformation about food, allergies, or nutrition
• Infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights

Reporting and moderation. Every cooklist, profile, and piece of User Content can be reported to us via the in-app long-press menu or by emailing hello@grovli.com. We commit to reviewing every report and acting on objectionable content within 24 hours of receiving it. Action includes, where appropriate, removal of the content and termination of the posting user's account without prior notice or refund.

Blocking. You may block any other user from your feed at any time. Blocked users disappear from your view instantly, and we are notified to investigate the underlying content for violations of these Terms.

Automated filtering. All User Content is screened by an automated content filter (a combination of a profanity word-list and an AI moderation classifier) before publication. The filter rejects clearly objectionable submissions on the spot. The absence of an automated rejection is not an endorsement — content that passes the filter remains subject to human review and retroactive removal.

We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate any account, at any time, in our sole discretion, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms the Grovli community.

Meal suggestions, nutritional information, and recipes are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions. Grovli is not liable for health outcomes resulting from AI-generated suggestions.

All content, trademarks, designs, and technology comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to Grovli. You retain ownership of any data you create (preferences, saved meals, pantry items). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to use your data solely to provide and improve your experience.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grovli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
